Here is the software for a basic line following robot. It is our first use of the decision making button (light sensor in this case).

Line Follower Project Robot
Challenge: Design a robot that can quickly and accurately follow a straight line.


Now we will examine a bit of physics using our line following bots. How does an increased mass change the speed of your robot?

1. Calculate the speed of your robot in meters per second.

Time Taken (seconds)
2. Then add 100 ml of water to the bottle attached to your robot and repeat the speed test.
3. Continue adding water until the bottle is filled.

Use the data table below to collect your results. In class we will construct a graph of the results.
