Click here to read Karen Malin's email about the importance of math practice. Timez Attack is a video game that teaches as well as helps students improve their speed of recalling multiplication facts 2-12. Many students have played Timez Attack this year. All scores through the Seven Hills School account have been reset, so students can log in and play the game again from the beginning. Click here for instructions for downloading the application and logging into the Seven Hills account. Teachers will be able to look at reports in the fall to see how far students progressed in the program. It is recommended that students use Timez Attack no more than 20 minutes at one time, 1-3 times per week. Education City is a second online resource for students. It covers math, language arts, and science. There are dozens of short activities in each of these three areas. Each activity takes less than 10 minutes to complete. The activities are broken down by grade level. Click here for instructions on accessing Education City. Like Timez Attack, teachers will be able to get reports of time spent, activities completed, and percentage correct for each student. It is recommended that students spend no more than 20 minutes at one time, 1-3 times per week.
