Standards: Math - Multiplication

Need: laptops, Timez Attack installed

Students work individually with a partner assistant.

Students start Timez Attack and create a class and user (if it was not already set up by the teacher). Students play this game for 20-40 minutes one time each week for eight weeks.

Most students will totally figure the game out without any help. If a student gets stuck on something, they will ask their partner assistant for help.

Note: Because this is a "video game" students like to play in areas of the classroom other than their desk such as laying on the floor. This is a perfect time to give students this option. Make sure you set the limits you need to ensure on-task behavior.

Optional: Encourage students to download this free program at home and continue practice at home.
